Three cheers for water!!

Our water was restored last night. Cue the marching band!

We quickly filled up 3 different bathtubs before it shut off again...but it's 7:30pm now and it's been on for almost 24 hours. This morning's shower was likely the best I've ever had. And to think that millions of people around the world live without water everyday.

We had a low-key day today. This morning we took Adaya to a local doctor here because she has a wheezy chest. She has a touch of bronchitis, nothing serious, just enough to be an annoyance for her and keep her up coughing at night. I called the clinic and was in to see the doctor 45 minutes later...now THAT is good service.

Makai played around outside. There is so much red sand around that all our whites are now a nice shade of brownish pink....not sure if that makes sense but it's the best way to describe it.

The strike is over but the streets are still lined with trash. I'm hoping to get some pictures of where we are staying once it's been cleared.

Adaya is currently having the nap of a lifetime (see picture) and Makai is colouring (see picture) and reading a book before bed.

Not sure how much we will do this weekend. We want to spend some time getting to know Adaya more and figuring out her schedule.

Next week the sightseeing will begin.
