Tomorrow we are meeting with our social worker, Robyn to complete the necessary paperwork and courier it back to Nova Scotia for processing.
We are also going to meet some friends of ours, Craig and Shayne Poole. We stayed at their Bed and Breakfast (Heaton Cottage) for 5 weeks when we were here completing Makai's adoption. We are very much looking forward to seeing them again. We will say hi to them for you Flannigans and Gayniks!
The food brands are different here so we were excited to find Cheerios at Woolworths for our picky eater, Makai. Apparently they are NOT the same because it had hardly touched his tongue and he was spitting them out. He is living on cereal, pizza and grilled cheese sandwiches. The diet of champions.
Miss Adaya is 7 months old today and seems pretty excited to be spending it with the likes of us! She is a happy, happy baby. She is already trying to take over Makai's toys and he is teaching her about boundaries and his personal space.
It is winter here, so the sun sets early and another day is almost done....
