Today we awoke to a sunny but cool day. We didn't have anything planned for the day yet didn't want to sit around all day....so we packed up the car and headed back to Tala Game Reserve to see if it could redeem itself and bring forth the Giraffe!
Makai was cautious and didn't want to get his hopes up. We brought snacks thinking the most exciting part of the day may be the Smarties.
Zebra.....yeah, yeah, whatever...
We saw so many ostrich that we were wondering if maybe they ran the Giraffe out of the park.
And then........it happened.....
We found the Giraffe!!! Hallelujah!
We only saw 6 in total....but we'll take it.
So it was a good day. Once we got home we sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine. Now we are doing the typical nighttime routine, bath, milk and bed.
Next week, at this time, we will be on a plane about to decend into Pearson International. We are on the homeward stretch....
